About the Department

B.Com (Computer Applications) is a three-year undergraduate program that combines commerce subjects with computer skills. It is designed to give students a strong understanding of accounting, finance, taxation, and business management, along with practical training in computer applications such as MS Office, C, C++, DBMS, and web technologies. To integrate commerce education with computer technology. To develop studentsâ€™ knowledge in accounting, business operations, and software applications. To prepare students for careers in computerized accounting, office automation, data handling, and e-business. To lay a foundation for higher education (M.Com, MBA, MCA) and professional certifications like CA, CMA, Tally Expert, etc. To prepare students for self-employment and entrepreneurship using digital business platforms.
