About the Department

The department of costume design & fashion started in the year 2016 and established as a pg department in the year 2019 with well-equipped laboratories like textile testing labs, wet processing and printing labs, garment production labs with modern machinery, and computer-aided design (cad) labs with industry-standard software.

DEPARTMENT RECOGNIZED AS KSR WOMEN SKILL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE BY SAMRATH SCHEME UNDER MINISTRY OF TEXTILES INDIA IN THE YEAR 2020.
